During Advent this year The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is transformed into a Christmas fairytale inspired by the fantastical world of the Nutcracker. This recurring theme weaves through the entire season, adding that extra something to all of the hotel’s offers
During Advent the Atmosphere Rooftop Bar is transformed into the highest Christmas market in Vienna’s old town. High above the rooftops guests can enjoy hot mulled wine and hearty treats while admiring the view across the snowy, seasonally decorated city. The charming Ritz Stüberl, which looks back on a more than 150-year history, beckons guests to warm themselves up in its rustic atmosphere. The Christmasmarket on the roof of The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna can also be exclusively booked for private or Corporate Christmas celebrations.
Heavenly Advent -The Nutcracker’s High Tea
Preparing and drinking red wine punch called “Feuerzangenbowle” is a typical Austrian tradition. Every Saturday during Advent we celebrate this ritual in the Melounge Lobby Lounge. Guests can savour the warmth, smell the spices and watch as the blue flames gently play around the rum-soaked sugarloaf. Each Advent
Sunday The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna presents an elegant Nutcracker inspired high tea. Sweet and savoury delicacies specially created by our very own culinary team are lovingly arranged on a monumental étagère. While guests delight in a welcome glass of sparkling Roderer Crystal champagne, followed by a delicious Advent cocktail and finest tea creations, they are invited to listen the angelic sounds of the Christmas choir.
