Spanish luxury fashion brand, Loewe, has recently opened in Melbourne its first store in Australia at the Chadstone Shopping centre.
The store covers a surface of 130 sqm and features the new retail design concept by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson. It features stucco walls, Capri limestone flooring and an agate stone slab that adorns the store’s entrance – a nod to the emerald green canopy that was first designed by famed architect Javier Carvajal in 1959 for the brand’s flagship store in Madrid.
A curated selection of the brand’s iconic men’s and women’s leather goods and accessories products will be featured in the new store.
“I’m very proud of this first project in Australia,” said Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Loewe who designed the concept store. “Ever since I joined Loewe I have wanted the brand to compete in a global scale as one of the best international luxury fashion brands. The opening of this space in Melbourne is a great step towards this.”
