JK Rowling's Original Beedle the Bard Manuscript to be Auctioned

pJust when emFantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them/em is hitting new highs at box offices globally, a handwritten and illustrated copy of emThe Tales of Beedle the Bard/em, also by bestselling author of emHarry Potter/em books, JK Rowling, is set to go under the hammer at an upcoming Sotheby's auction in London./p pandnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"/p pbr /Almost a decade ago, in December 2007, Rowling had presented this manuscript to British publisher Barry Cunningham. It is one of the only seven created by the author, and bears a personal dedication. Bound in brown Moroccan leather and adorned with seven rhodochrosites, the book features sterling silver ornaments centred around a skull. It is estimated to auction for andpound;300,000 to andpound;500,000 (approx. INR2 to 4 crores), and can be viewed from December 9th to 13th at the Sotheby's London centre.
