Mandarin Oriental Milan offers wine tasting and truffle hunting this autumn

Mandarin Oriental, Milan will celebrate autumn by offering two accommodation packages focused on wine tasting and truffle hunting respectively. Guests booking the Wine Tasting in Franciacorta and Truffle Hunting in Alba packages will enjoy luxurious accommodation, gourmet cuisine made from seasonal produce and tours of the nearby Italian countryside to taste wines or find truffles. Both offers are available from 1 October to 21 December 2016.

Wine Tasting in Franciacorta

Only a one-hour drive from Milan, the Franciacorta region is one of the most beautiful and productive winemaking areas in Italy. In partnership with L’Albereta, a charming 5-star resort on Lake Iseo, the Wine Tasting in Franciacorta package offers Mandarin Oriental, Milan guests an opportunity to spend a day touring the best wineries of Franciacorta, tasting the award-winning local wines, and experience both hotels’ fine-dining restaurants. The package includes:

Total of three nights’ stay: One night at Mandarin Oriental, Milan, one night at L’Albereta and a third night at either hotel.

A much sought-after autumn delicacy, the Alba truffle has always been a favourite with Chefs and fine-dining enthusiasts. By booking the Truffle Hunting in Alba package, guests can take part in a private guided tour to discover the Alba region and its best truffle hunting spots, before having a truffle-themed lunch in one of Alba’s best restaurants. On returning to Mandarin Oriental, Milan, guests can enjoy a truffle menu created by Michelin-starred Chef, Antonio Guida, at Seta restaurant. The package includes:
