Brunello Cucinelli revenues jump 9,3%n the first quarter

In the first three months of this year, Brunello Cucinelli reports Q1 net revenues grew by 9.1% at current exchange rates (+ 9.3% at constant exchange rates) to 121.8 million euro.

Sales were positive on international markets (+ 9.8%), as well as on the Italian market (+ 6.4%). On the basis of the fall 2016 orders the company  expected “a healthy double-digit growth both in sales and profits for the entire 2016″.

Returning to the quarterly and performance of different markets, North America recorded an increase of 9.2%, Europe by 9%, the Greater China by 11.1% and the rest of the world 13%. the three main channels have gone well: the retail (+ 11.4%) and single-brand wholesale (+ 5.4%), but also the multi-brand wholesale (+ 8.1%).

The Italian market amounted to 24.9 million euro, compared to 23.4 million euro of 31 March 2015, with a weight on revenues of 20.4%.   “The current year is going really well – said the founder and president, Brunello Cucinelli -. We are pleased with both of sales, and the image of the brand internationally. ”
