Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo is set to open this November. This is Shangri-La’s second property in the country since the opening of Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa in June 2016. The new Shangri-La Colombo is just 40 minutes away from the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, making it ideal for business and leisure travellers alike.
Part of One Galle Face along the Galle Face Green promenade, the hotel occupies 10 acres of land and is part of a mixed-use development including an office tower, two residential towers and a high-end shopping mall. Most of the hotel’s 500 guestrooms and 41 serviced apartments offer incredible Indian Ocean views.
Five restaurants and lounges will be unveiled at the same time as the hotel’s launch. With its prime location, the hotel offers Sri Lankan and East Asian treatments at CHI spa, a 24-hour fitness centre, swimming pool and pool bar overlooking Galle Face Green and the Indian Ocean.
