Real estate developer DLF is opening a new luxury mall in Delhi in the area of Lutyens. The new Chanakya Mall will feature stores by Hermes, Versace, Tom Ford, Thomas Pink. Brands like Brunello Cucinelli will make their India debut through the mall which will be spread over 250,000 square feet and will house a mix of luxury as well as other upscale brands like Longchamp, G-Star Raw, Hunkemöller, Juicy Couture, Diesel Gold. Other brands opening stores in the mall include Nirav Modi ,Good Earth (luxury edition) and Grassroot by Anita Dongre.
The Chanakya will also host a 20,000 square feet dining area which has been designed by Shawn Sullivan of New-York based Rockwell Group. A treat for gourmands of Delhi, it will offer live-cooking theatre, gastronomic journey through world cuisines, extensive collection of international wines, tea and coffee. Talking to DNA, Dinaz Madhukar, senior vice president, DLF Luxury Retail & Hospitality, stated, “With The Chanakya, our objective is to take retail evolution beyond its largely singular, product-based definition to encompass experiences. So, it is all about world-class food and beverage offerings to a state-of-the-art cinema here.”
