Céline and independent LA boutique chain Maxfield have collaborated on a pop-up to showcase the French luxury label’s early autumn ranges to its customers.
The pop-up on Melrose Avenue is the latest in a run of high-end partnerships by the indie concept store, which uses a unique glass and wood pre-fabricated building by the French designer Jean Prouvé to create a space for events, exhibitions, and pop-up shops. Dubbed the “nomade structure”, it is used to hero the retailer’s collaborations and strategic partnerships.
Not only do these pop-up events allow the business to create unique moments for its partners and couture collaborators, they also enable Maxfield to reach out to a different segment of customers via presenting merchandise in a space with a different vibe from its main stores.
