The Fontainebleau Miami Beach completes renovations of Versailles Tower

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach has completed renovations to its original Versailles Tower and 33 poolside cabanas.

The Versailles Tower was upgraded to match the amenities of the Chateau Tower, which was also an original hotel structure that was previously renovated. Upgrades include polished-metal accents, custom nightstands and hand-sketched artwork from the late Morris Lapidus, the hotel’s architect. The hotel’s cabanas now feature custom love seats and new ceiling fans.

Opened in 1954 with the Chateau and Versailles towers, the hotel has grown to four towers totaling 1,504 rooms. The hotel completed a $1 billion renovation in 2008.
