Hilton Hotels and Resorts has announced plans for a second property in central Paris in 2019. The hotel is development in partnership with Compagnie de Phalsbourg.
Located on Avenue de Saxe in the seventh arrondissement, the 118-room Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower will be the brand’s second property in central Paris, joining the Hilton Paris Opera, and has engaged designer Philippe Starck to instruct on the its interiors.
The hotel will be within reach of a number of prime attractions such as the National Assembly, Les Invalides, the Eiffel Tower and a range of museums including the Musée d’Orsay.
Construction is due to begin on the adaptation of two adjacent buildings from the 1900s and 1970s. Extra facilities will so far include a fitness centre and an executive lounge.
Commenting on the new property regional head, full service brand management at Hilton Andreas Lackner added:
“Paris remains one of the most enviable cities in the world for any traveller. Our existing Hilton Paris Opera is one of the brand’s most popular properties amongst our global network of loyal customers and we cannot wait to begin welcoming guests to this new property within such proximity to so many Parisian landmarks.”
Hilton Hotels and Resorts has two more properties in Paris – the Hotel Paris La Defense and Hilton Charles de Gaulle airport hotel.
