I love the sun and I love open spaces so there is a lot of glass windows with 70mm style views of the valley and the beautiful sunrise with more peacocks than people,andrdquo; says Dayal./p pandnbsp;/p pA dhau tree is painted on the ceiling of the common living room, in Dayalandrsquo;s own hand. The property also carries a lot of her artwork on the walls; walls that are the colour of deep pomegranate and green pastoral. andldquo;I didnandrsquo;t need to conform to some standard design expectations because it was supposed to be for me. I often get the feedback from men that it is very andlsquo;prettyandrsquo;, meaning andlsquo;feminineandrsquo; but I wasnandrsquo;t looking to people please at all.andrdquo;/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"/p blockquote type="cite" div style="text-align: center;" dir="ltr"andnbsp;emPretty in pink/em/div /blockquote pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pAs a result of that, Anupamaa Mangar has become a cocoon of design that is not so far from Anupamaa the person; cheerful, colourful and inclined towards slow, clean living. If you go for the Sunday brunch, youandrsquo;ll find organic food, grown on the same property. There are no TVs; instead there is a meditation cave and early morning walks into the forest.
