Michael Kors expands in Russia

With 13 stores operating in Moscow, Michael Kors is now expanding in the Russian regions with 5 new stores in 2017 in the following cities: in Novosibirsk (Siberia), Sochi (Krasnodar region), Ekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk Oblast) and Voronezh (biggest city of the region)to open five new stores in 2017.

Shopping area of each store will be of around 200 m2 selling women’s ready-to-wear and accessories. According to RNS unnamed source new stores won’t sell men’s clothing collections and will be located only in local shopping centers. Each shop might require an investment of 25 mln rubles.

American brand, Michael Kors, was established in 1981 by designer Michael Kors. Today the brand can be found in more than 400 conceptual stores in the USA, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. On Russian market, Michael Kors is exclusively represented by BNS business group. The group also represents the brand in Ukraine and Kazakhstan markets with total 171 stores in 60 cities of the three countries.
