Just a few days after the death of the American actress Mary Tyler Moore, the Minneapolis house, that was used to represent Moore’s apartment in the 1970s sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show, is up for $1.7 Million. Though, only the exterior of the stone Victorian mansion was used in the show, Mary’s actual apartment was a Hollywood set.
Also this is the lowest listing for the home as it has been on the market for almost five years. Built in 1900, it initially hit the market in June 2012 for $2,895,000.
A sneak peek inside the mansion reveals seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a gym. Spread across 9,500 square feet, the home also features a remodeled kitchen with four ovens and a granite island. Other highlights include a sauna, a rooftop deck with a hammock and five gas fireplaces.
The iconic home in Minneapolis is a regular stopover for fans to capture pictures.
