Malik mentions, andldquo;We always add a traditional twist to our products. For instance, the Dawn Wall Art piece uses the traditional craft of Matharkaami wherein we use pure brass discs at the centre of the pieces. For our baskets and planters, we use wire weaving techniques that are inspired by the traditional technique Bainth which is a form of jute rope/cane weaving.andrdquo;/p p style="text-align: left;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: left;"Malik did find it demanding to conceptualise a comprehensive range in metal while balancing quality and price points. The duo was aware that metal wasnandrsquo;t rampantly used by the average Indian consumer to decorate homes in the past. While they needed to bring metal into furniture, they also needed to gain visibility with the right customers. Over these months, since the brandandrsquo;s launch, it is the exclusivity it offers that sets it apart from its contemporaries. Malik explains, andldquo;We keep our batch sizes small during production; so customers can expect new products regularly, keeping our inventory fresh and exciting.
