Paul Smith has moved one of its Paris stores, from Faubourg Saint-Honoré to 223 rue Saint-Honoré
The 125 sq m boutique features a classic Parisian-style parquet floor. It consists of two rooms, the first showcasing the men’s and women’s collections and the second dedicated to bespoke tailoring.
The interiors are pure Paul Smith: the first room hosts a collection of the designer’s paintings over the cashier counter (some of them available for sale), and marble shelves filled with Tom Dixon table accessories. The label’s ready-to-wear lines are framed by a series of patterns from previous collections, and the fitting rooms are decorated with green ceramic tiles.
At the back, the bespoke tailoring area’s ceiling is covered with slides from the designer’s travels, which customers can view using binoculars, while sculpted chandeliers by Dutch brand Pols Potten brighten up the interior.
