Langham Place ensures memorable New York holiday with $150K guest package

The Langham Place Hotel on Fifth Avenue is putting guests in a Christmas state of mind through an exclusive holiday package.

Booking the a stay at The Langham Place puts guests in the heart of New York’s iconic holiday shopping and sightseeing destinations such as the Bryant Park Holiday Market, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree and the windows along Fifth Avenue. With its surroundings offering so much holiday cheer, Langham is furthering guests’ “Christmas State of Mind” with an extravagant package starting at $150,000 for a 3-night stay.

Langham’s “over-the-top fantasy” Christmas in New York package is geared toward guests “for whom the sky is the limit.”

Guests who book will stay in Langham’s newly designed Roche Bobois penthouse suites for 3 nights, with each additional night costing $10,000. The accommodations include views of the Empire State Building, furnishings by Roche Bobois and amenities by Paul Smith and Maison Lacroix, as well as a full kitchen with Miele appliances (see story).

For a true Christmas state of mind, the halls of the penthouse have been decked with a fully-decorated in-room Christmas tree with gifts underneath. Gifts include an edible chocolate book with Langham Pink diamonds gifts, hand-selected items from Roche Bobois, two cashmere blankets and a curated basket of made in New York products from Chelsea Market.

To navigate the crowded city streets, guests will have use of a dedicated Rolls-Royce and driver from 7 a.m. to midnight, daily. A specially-curated private shopping itinerary is also included, as is the service of a personal shopper for up to six hours to ease the stresses of gift buying.

The package also includes an eight-course tasting menu served in the Roche Bobois penthouse. The menu will be prepared by James Beard Award-winning chef Michael White of the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Ai Fiori.

For a night of entertainment, guests can enjoy four premium seats at a New York show of their choosing. The seats can be reserved for shows on or off Broadway as well as Radio City Music Hall.

Guests can also view the penthouse from another perspective through VIP tickets and direct access to the Empire State Building’s Observation Deck.

The package is topped off by two hour-long massages enjoyed in-room.

Although not all of Langham’s guests will be able to book the Christmas State of Mind package, the hotel is looking to give back to those staying at its property this holiday seasons.

Guests who purchase an in-room Langham Hotels branded chocolate bar may find a golden ticket. The Willy Wonka-like ticket grants the guest with a $10,000 room upgrade to one of the Roche Bobois penthouse suites.
