Giant Mall of Qatar is now officially open

Mall of Qatar, with its 500 thousand square meters of retail space, is one of the largest shopping and entertainment complexes in the Middle East.

“We reached this milestone after many years of hard work,” said CEO Ahmed Al Mulla, adding that “the Mall of Qatar marks a new era, because it mixes shopping and entertainment in a sizeable structure.”

The new mall opened with with 220 stores representing 60% of the selling area with many other stores under construction. Among the stores already open are: Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, Aldo, Armani Exchange, Braccialini, Bulgari, Bugatti, Calvin Klein, Calzedonia, Cortefiel, Debenhams, Dance Size, Escada, Foot Locker, Gant, H & M, Lacoste, Levi’s, Loriblu, Love Moschino , Mango, Max Mara, Montblanc, Napapijri, New Balance, Nike, Samsonite, Silvian Heach, Swarovski, Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch, Trussardi, Valentino, Versus, Victoria’s Secret and Zara.

On the entertainment front, a free program for visitors is provided every day of the year: in the foreground a revolving stage, in the middle of a lush oasis, with lots of interactive fountains and waterfalls. There’s also a mega cinema with 19 halls, using the most innovative technologies.
