CHANEL opens two pop-up stores in Paris in the Marais district

Chanel has opened two pop-up boutiques in Paris, in the Marais district on rue Vieille-du-Temple within landmark mansion known as the Hôtel Amelot de Bisseuil. They are slated to remain open through May 2017.

One of the boutiques covers 127 sqm showcasing ready-to-wear and accessories, headlined by the Coco Cuba resort collection that was unveiled in Havana last May. The other boutique is smaller covering only 37 sqm being entirely dedicated to shoes.

Bruno Pavlovsky, president of Chanel fashion, said about the openings that they “test to see if there is some potential” in the neighborhood.

At present, Chanel operates a cluster of fashion boutiques around its historic Rue Cambon flagship and twin units on each side of the Avenue Montaigne.
