Jayati Modi Picks Vivienne Westwood Gown for Her Le Bal Debut

pThe future heiress of the multi-billion dollar Modi Enterprises, and daughter of the company's Executive Director Samir Modi, Jayati Modi is all set to live the Disney princess dream. She is one of the 20 women to be selected to be presented at Paris's Bal des Dandeacute;butantes on November 26th./p pandnbsp;/p pStarted in 1992, Bal des Dandeacute;butantes, also known as Le Bal, is an annual tradition to introduce twenty young ladies and gentlemen to the society in the City of Lights. These individuals are personally selected by the founder Ophandeacute;lie Renouard from a host of applicants belonging to elite families across the world. In an exclusive chat with Renouard, she elaborates that the event is also a charity ball, wherein the proceeds go to Enfants d'Asie that aids underprivileged children of Asia, and Seleni that caters to the mental health of women, globally./p pandnbsp;/p pDelving further into the details about the event, Renouard says, "Le Bal is the rite of passage for young women and men, and it is limited to an exclusive few. I have been doing this for over 20 years and I'm always looking for exceptional individuals from different countries. I select debutants on basis of their family's contributions to arts, politics, business, and more."/p pandnbsp;/p pAs Jayati Modi makes her debut at the Bal des Dandeacute;butantes we asked her about her expectations from the event. She said, "I've heard it's a magical weekend and it is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm excited for what's in store, and to see what comes out of this event."br /Besides the introduction of debutants, the ball works with couture houses to create a special outfit for each young lady that represents the fashion brand's style. Modi gives us an exclusive insight into her look for the event. She says, "I'm wearing a Vivienne Westwood gown, which is unconventional like most of her clothing, but not too edgy. It is an interesting, colourful three-piece that brings together the elements of fun, chic, and grandeur." Her Westwood couture outfit is complemented with New York-based jeweller Payal Mehta's accessories./p pandnbsp;/p pWhen picking out jewellery for Modi, Payal Mehta had specific ideas. She said, "When I met with Jayati, I saw that she had a very classic, delicate look. I wanted to complement and enhance this element, rather than overwhelming it. The inspiration for the jewellery designs for her was the refined elegance of royalty. Le Bal is an exquisitely elegant evening, and I wanted to give her the chance to be a princess."/p pandnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"/p pandnbsp;/p pThe pairing of Westwood's silhouettes and Mehta's baubles seems gorgeous, and we can't wait to see how Modi fairs at Le Bal. We wish this Indian heiress luck on her fashionable formal debut./p pandnbsp;/p pstrongMore On andgt;andgt; a href="../../content/luxpresso.com/lifestyle/celebs" target="_blank"Celebs/a/strong/p
