A New Chiming Innovation for Chopard Manufacture's 20th

pTo celebrate Chopard Manufacture's 20th anniversary, the brand launched its first-ever minute-repeater called L.U.C Full Strike. A tribute to its founder and watchmaker Louis-Ulysse Chopard (LUC), the new timepiece is unlike its contemporary called Strike One, launched in 2010, chimed just once every hour. Touted as Chopard Manufacture's most refined innovation, Full Strike, the brand claims, took six years to take shape.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pThe 42.5mm case of the watch, crafted in fairmined certified rose gold, houses an open-work dial with gold index, hours and minute hands. Its hours, quarters and minutes are designed to strike on sapphire gongs to produce a melodious chime. The sapphire rings are stacked in a way that they serve as the perfect loudspeakers to diffuse the sound of the hammers on the gongs, while still letting the chimes sound crystal clear; just like the sound of a knife delicately tapped against a wine glass. Another interesting feature is the push button on the crown, which, when pressed, emits a melodious chime that tells the correct time./p pandnbsp;/p pLimited to only 20 pieces across the globe, it features the Geneva seal of watch making on its back case. andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pstrongMore On andgt;andgt; a href="http://www.luxpresso.com/watches" target="_blank"Watches/a/strong/p
