German-based watch and jewelry retailer Wempe has reopened its Manhattan flagship on Fifth Avenue following a two-year, $8 million renovation. The venue has more than doubled in size, expanding the space to 5,500 sq. ft. The store’s exterior now features eight windows stretching across half a block.
Beneath the raised ceilings, the floor plan includes open salons and more accessible displays. While the new entryway honors the brand’s jewelry collection, the brand’s affinity for timepieces is honored through a replica of Sinclair Harding’s H1 Sea Clock.
Wempe retails major luxury watch brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, IWC, Panerai, Vacheron Constantin etc. Wempe operates more than 30 international locations.
