Singapore-based General Hotel Management (GHM) has partnered with Mumbai real estate company Rajesh LifeSpaces for the launch of The Chedi Mumbai, which is expected to open before the end of the year. The 316-room property will signal the Chedi brand’s entry into the Mumbai market, and will be located near the diverse Powai region.
The Chedi Mumbai will be home to five restaurants, extensive meeting facilities, and a holistic spa and wellness center. The hotel is strategically located in close proximity to the Bandra Kurla Complex, an emerging work and leisure hub in South Mumbai, which will also house a new convention center, art auditorium, and cultural plaza as well as offices and residences.
The Chedi Mumbai is GHM’s third development announcement this year, following the Chedi Lustica Bay in Montenegro and new brand Tin Hotels.
