The Fashion Ads You Need to See

pHere are the standout fashion ad campaigns for the coming season./p pandnbsp;/p pstrongChanel/strong/p pstrongbr //strong/p pThe idea for Chanelandrsquo;s FW andrsquo;16 campaign stems from Karl Lagerfeldandrsquo;s love for collages. Technology in the 50s was not advanced enough to create digital collages. Hence, Lagerfeld fulfilled his dream of creating digital collages with Chanelandrsquo;s fall andrsquo;16 campaign. The campaign, shot by Lagerfeld, features models Mariacarla Boscono and Sarah Brannon dressed in monochrome tweed jackets and ruffled dresses. They are also seen carrying the seasonandrsquo;s accessories like the lambskin flap bag and pearl necklaces, also from the fall andrsquo;16 collection.andnbsp;/p pstrongbr //strong/p pstrong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"strong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: left;"strongGucci/strong/p p style="text-align: left;"strongbr //strong/p p style="text-align: left;"After shooting the brandandrsquo;s spring andrsquo;16 ads in Berlin, Gucciandrsquo;s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, headed to Tokyo to shoot the fall winter andrsquo;16 campaign. The campaign is high on featuring deko-trucks (Japanese concept trucks lit with colourful lights) and cherry blossom gardens. These locations act as the perfect backdrops for the new print ad, which has models dressed in suede dresses and embroidered bomber jackets. The campaign, shot by Glen Luchfold, also features a line of bags and coats from the GucciGhost collectionandmdash;a fashion line designed by Michele in collaboration with Brooklyn-based artist Trevor Andrew./p p style="text-align: left;"strongbr //strong/p p style="text-align: left;"strong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"strong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: left;"strongCalvin Klein/strong/p p style="text-align: left;"strongbr //strong/p p style="text-align: left;"Calvin Klein hired 27 celebrities like Kate Moss, Zoandeuml; Kravitz, Bella Hadid and more for its #MyCalvin fall andrsquo;16 campaign. In the past, #MyCalvin has been endorsed by Justin Bieber. The present campaign has been shot by London-based photographer Tyrone Lebon. Each celebrity print ad carries a statement from him or her, stating what he or she does wearing the Calvins. For instance, the print featuring Zoandeuml; Kravitz has her declaring, andlsquo;I do what I want in #mycalvinsandrsquo;. The campaign also includes short videos with celebrities revealing how donning CK merchandise enhances their personality./p p style="text-align: left;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"strong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: left;"strongCoach/strong/p p style="text-align: left;"strongbr //strong/p p style="text-align: left;"The year 1941 not only marked the launch of Coach, but also introduced the term andlsquo;coolandrsquo; to define fashion. Building up on this coincidence, Stuart Vevers, Creative Director, Coach, headed to New York City to shoot the brandandrsquo;s fall andrsquo;16 campaign; laying emphasis on the cool quotient. Shot on the terrace of a skyscraper, the campaign was captured by photographer Steven Meisel. Six models were shot against a stunning vintage car, using the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. The models, styled in short dresses and baseball jackets, carry the seasonandrsquo;s best bagsandmdash;the Rivet Saddle and Coach swagger/p p style="text-align: left;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"strong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: left;"strongBalmain/strong/p p style="text-align: left;"strongbr //strong/p p style="text-align: left;"Led by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, the fall andrsquo;16 campaign for Balmain channels the idea of music meets fashion. Creative Director Olivier Rousteing partnered with rapper Kanye West to create a music video, called andlsquo;Wolvesandrsquo; that is also one of the tracks from Westandrsquo;s album, andlsquo; The Life of Pabloandrsquo;. The music video, shot by Steven Klein, also doubles up as the campaign for Balmain, using live stills from the video as the print ad for the brand. The campaign features a team of 12 models, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Riley Montana and Sasha Luss; they are referred to as andlsquo; The Balmain Armyandrsquo; by Rousteing. Rousteingandrsquo;s tech forward fall andrsquo;16 collection is inspired by the military in its silhouette, with metallic embellishments and ruffles. This, in a way, explains the use of the phrase andlsquo; The Balmain Armyandrsquo;. In fact, to complement this tech forward collection, the West couple repeated their futuristic MET Gala 16 outfits in the campaign. andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: left;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"strong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"andnbsp;/p p style="text-align: left;"strongMore On andgt;andgt; a href="http://www.luxpresso.com/style/fashion" target="_blank"Fashion/a/strong/p
