Rolex to open in Vancouver largest store in North America

Swiss luxury watchmaker Rolex will open in Vancouver its largest North American store, on 30th September 2016. Operated in partnership with local watch and jewellery retailer, Global Watch Company, the stire will be Western Canada’s first Rolex boutique.

Located at the Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouer, the Rolex store will cover a space of the 2,000-square-feet space. The store will replace the Xi Shi Lounge of the hotel.

It will feature high-end details like aqua-glass walls, leather furnishings, and bronze accents that pay homage to the Rolex Oyster, the company’s first waterproof wristwatch designed in 1926. Rolex will join other premium retailers located on and around Alberni Street, including Versace, Prada, and Moncler and the newly opened Saint Laurent Paris.
