Jimmy Choo has re-opened it’s women’s boutique in Milan after an extensive expansion and refurbishment over the summer reflecting the brand’s global design concept. The Women’s boutique on Via Sant Andrea is next to the recently opened Jimmy Choo Men’s boutique which marks the first retail presence in Italy for the Jimmy Choo men’s collection and heralds the launch of a new interior concept for the Men’s stores in Europe. The Men’s and Women’s stores will feature separate entrances but be joined internally by a connecting corridor.
“Milan is a key location for us within Europe with a strong men’s customer base. This year marks the brand’s 20th anniversary, and the opening of the first Men’s store in Italy plays an important role in serving the city’s dynamic clientele. With our Men’s and Women’s stores sitting side by side we are able to cater to a wider audience whilst telling the full brand story.” said Pierre Denis, CEO

Walls are decorated with a textured grey fabric wallpaper flecked with gold metallic accents. Furniture is presented in cool dark grey matte metal. A vintage chandelier creates a dramatic centrepiece referencing the sense of tradition that is juxtaposed with modernity in the
Jimmy Choo Women’s Store: Extending over two floors, the full Jimmy Choo Women’s collection of shoes, handbags, accessories, sunglasses and fragrance will be presented in the expanded boutique. The exclusive Made-to-Order service and a Bridal collection VIP room will have dedicated areas located in the lower ground floor.
Echoing the global store design concept of modern glamour through elegant materials and sophistication of design rather than ornament. Soft-hues and subtle textures layered with shimmering surfaces create depth of detail, reflecting the dynamism and creativity of the Jimmy Choo product. Signature palettes of satin gold, rosa egeo pink marble and mink velvets tone with the oyster stone and mother of pearl chevron floor. Woven mesh in metallic finishes and spherical glass chandelier pendants grant the space an inviting allure, while product is presented in luxurious display concepts.
To celebrate the new store, Creative Director Sandra Choi has designed a striking limited edition boot and sandal combining python with feminine black leather bow details available exclusively at the Milan boutique.
The Jimmy Choo retail design concept was created by David Collins Studio, London and interpreted by Christian Lahoude.
