p/p pTomorrow (23rd September), Zenith Watches will host an exhibition of an antique pocket watch in Delhi, one similar to what the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, andnbsp;carried. The exhibition will coincide with the launch of the brandandrsquo;s two new collections in Indiaandmdash;the Pilot and the El Primero collection./p pandnbsp;/p pandldquo;Zenith boasts of a legacy of more than 150 years in the watch making industry and we are trying to showcase it through this exhibition,andrdquo; says Ashok Goel, Brand Head for Zenith Watches in India. In 1947, Indira Gandhi had gifted a pocket watch to Mahatma Gandhi, and the watch to be showcased is exactly the same model used by him. Only three of these watches remain today, two of which are owned by the Zenith museum and one belongs to an Indian collector./p pandnbsp;/p pTaking pride in Zenithandrsquo;s pedigree, Goel shares the companyandrsquo;s main aim towards this display, which is celebrating and appreciating times gone by.
