Review: A Limited Edition Cocktail Trilogy by Hakkasan

p/p pandnbsp;/p pAfter launching a brand new Ling Ling lounge in the Greek Island of Mykonos, the Michelin-Star restaurant Hakkasan is all set to open a Ling Ling bar in Marrakech. To celebrate this anticipated launch Hakkasan Mumbai is serving a limited edition cocktail trilogy illustrating the andlsquo;Evolution of Ling Lingandrsquo;. Transforming authentic flavours that take inspiration from Hakkasan outlets in London, Mykonos and Marrakech, this new exquisite cocktail menu is paired with the restaurantandrsquo;s stellar dim sum assortment. To celebrate this occasion, the Chinese restaurant hosted us to a unique experiential, serving us this exclusive pairing.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pHakkasan being our favourite destination to relish authentic Cantonese cuisine, we were thrilled to experience this Asian cocktail celebration. Our journey began with a cocktail named Bitter Fortune, which is one of Ling Lingandrsquo;s original concoctions featuring a lip-smacking mixture of Tanqueray gin and Campari topped with grapefruit and a dash of lime. To complement the citrusy notes of this cocktail, the attendant served us a platter of crispy radish puffs, which is basically flour strips stuffed with stir-fried grated radish. Following this delicious pairing, the server brought us our second cocktailandmdash;the Golden Mare, which is only an updated version of the Bitter Fortune that uses Mediterranean herbs with rosemary and basil. This Mykonos-inspired drink was accompanied by Hakkasanandrsquo;s infamous duck rollsandmdash;crispy on the outside and filled with succulent meat inside, it is served with flavourful sauce on the side. The cocktail trilogy ended on a rather happy note with the Chilli Coupette that also happens to be our most favourite cocktail on the menu.
