Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced that its fourth Hong Kong property will debut this December. Located in the heart of Kowloon, the 545-room Kerry Hotel Hong Kong will span 16 stories overlooking Hung Hom Bay.
Designed as an urban resort by Andre Fu of the Hong Kong-based firm AFSO, the hotel will cater to nearby residents as well as guests with five onsite restaurants and bars, including a marketplace with 10 international culinary concepts. Al fresco dining will offer unobstructed views of the Hong Kong Island skyline. Guestrooms will vary in size from 452 square feet to the 3,165-square-foot rooftop suite. More than 60 percent of guestrooms will enjoy views of Victoria Harbor.
The property will also house the most meeting and event space of any hotel in Hong Kong. Seventeen flexible meeting venues will accommodate between 30 to 660 people, while the 18,900-square-foot grand ballroom will offer banquet-style seating for more than 1,000 guests. Visitors will also be able to take advantage of indoor-outdoor venues, a 24-hour fitness center, a club lounge, retail outlets, and an 82-foot outdoor swimming pool.
