p/p pandnbsp;/p pThe andnbsp;ongoing Paris Haute Couture fashion week, last evening, witnessed a stunning showcase andnbsp;by the renowned House of Dior. While the brand still runs without a Creative Director, ever since Raf Simonsandrsquo; exit in October 2015, his juniors Lucie Meier and Serge Ruffieux managed to pull off a stupendous fall-winter couture show.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pTaking cue from Monsieur Diorandrsquo;s archives and Simonsandrsquo; scribbling pads, the designer duo brought back Diorandrsquo;s signature style of the andlsquo;Bar Suitandrsquo; on the ramp. The all-monochrome couture collection was presented at the brandandrsquo;s first ever Parisian boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pstrongThe Collection/strong/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pstrongbr //strong/p pstrong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"strong/strong/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pBlack and white play a significant role in Diorandrsquo;s history, as Christian Dior andnbsp;adored the two colours for their simplicity, purity and sartorial versatility. Embroidered motifs and embellished patterns adorned the apple-cut silhouette coats. A blend of tulle and silk, best known as crandecirc;pe de Chine, was used to stitch the Victorian-style mid-length skirts. Alongside the Bar suit, the fall winter 16 couture collection also witnessed drop shoulder jackets, pleated skirts, embellished organza middies, off-shoulder ruffled gowns, pant suits and gowns with plunging necklines.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pstrongThe Venue/strong/p pThis is the second time the House of Dior hosted its couture show at the 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. From gilded mirrors to lacquered furniture, the marble-floor boutique demonstrates a warm colour palette in shades of beige, gold and white. A carpeted staircase connects the floors which acted as a ramp for the models this season.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pIn fact, the venue made its Hollywood debut in the Season 6 of emSex and the City/em (remember the time when emCarrie Bradshaw/em fell on the marble floors of the Dior boutique?).andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pstrongThe Front Row/strong/p pstrongbr //strong/p pstrong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"strong/strong/p p style="text-align: center;"emCandeacute;line Dion, andnbsp;Li Bing Bing, andnbsp;Marion Cottilard (L-R)/em/p pandnbsp;/p pThe show was a celebrity-studded event with names like strongCandeacute;line Dion/strong, strongChiara Ferragni/strong, strongElena Perminova/strong, strongLi Bing Bing/strong, strongMarion Cottilard/strong, strongOlivia Palermo/strong, strongAmira Caser/strong and more gracing the front row.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pstrongMore On andgt;andgt; a href="http://www.luxpresso.com/style/fashion" target="_blank"Fashionandnbsp;/a/strong/p
