A New Dawn in the Indian Automobile History

p/p pBritish automobile giant Rolls-Royce unveiled its andlsquo;most seductive car everandrsquo;andmdash;the Dawn, a four-seater super luxury convertible, priced at a whopping 6.25 crores. A convertible version of the Rolls Royce Wraith, it debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show last year; the Dawn is a successor to the brandandrsquo;s 1953 Silver Dawn.br /br /Although based on the Wraith model, the car features almost 80 per cent unique body parts that include even the tyres. The Dawn measures nearly 6 metres in length with a wheelbase of 3.1 mm. br /andnbsp;br /Dawnandrsquo;s fabric roof, one of its highlights, takes just 20 seconds to open or close even when the car is cruising at a speed of 50 km/h. It was designed with the aim to create the quietest convertible; hence the roof doesnandrsquo;t make any sound while opening or closing. The roof, in automotive parlance, is called the andlsquo;Silent Balletandrsquo;. br /br /With spacious interiors, this new Rolls Royce Dawn is just what the HNIs in India need. On the occasion, Rolls-Royceandrsquo;s Design Director Giles Taylor said, andldquo; The idea of creating a car like Dawn that can be used in comfort by only two adults on a day to day basis is anathema. In creating Dawn we have accepted no compromise to the comfort and the luxury of four adults who want to travel together in the pinnacle of style.andrdquo;br /br /The overall appearance of the car is sophisticated and chic, while clean lines define its body, it is driven by an uncompromised mechanism is that is quintessentially British./p pandnbsp;/p pstrongMore On andgt;andgt; a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.luxpresso.com/cars-jets" target="_blank"Cars andamp; Jets/a/strong/p
