Anya Hindmarch to open first stores in South Korea

Anya Hindmarch has signed a franchise agreement with leading South Korean department store Shinsegae International to expand further into the region.

With the acquisition of the brand’s distribution rights, the group will begin rolling out Anya Hindmarch boutiques within major department stores in the second half of the year.

Since its launch in 1987, Anya Hindmarch has grown into a global brand with over 45 stores, including flagships in New York, London and Tokyo. In Korea, the company was present through the specialty store BoonTheShop.

As well as retail boutiques, the label holds seasonal pop-ups offering a taste of the retail experience and houses Bespoke stores where customers can have their drawings or handwritting embossed.
