pWhile owning a private island is an impossible reality for most people, renting an island need not be so. I experienced this first hand, when a friend rented the most breathtakingly beautiful and secluded Island in Malaysia for his birthday, and brought 40 people from around the world there for the weekend. The experience was extremely special, and showcased a different kind of travel option that one might not normally think of.
