Mandarin Oriental’s First Hotel in Italy

The tastemakers of Italy’s fashion capital have a stylish new headquarters. Opened in July, the Mandarin Oriental, Milan, occupies four 18th-century structures that have been transformed into an of-the-moment hotel with mint-hued walls, glossy Carrara-marble floors, and custom furnishings in deep lavender velvet and tawny leather.
