The Barcelona Edition Hotel is scheduled to open in 2017, and will be housed within a converted office building in the Citutat Vella (literally “Old City”) district of the Catalan capital.
The 100-room will be located next to the city’s Santa Caterina market, and will feature three restaurants, a club and rooftop bar, and an “activated lobby space”.
The brand currently has four open properties within its portfolio – London, Istanbul, Miami Beach and New York – with a fifth due to open in Sanya this year, and future properties including Bangkok, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi (2017), and New York Times Square, West Hollywood, Reykjavik and Bali (2018).
