Stefano Pilati is said to be leaving his role as Creative Director of Ermenegildo Zegna, having joined the company in 2013. Sources say Pilati’s couture-like designs were often disconnected from Zegna’s core customer needs.
Alessandro Sartori, Creative Director of Berluti has also confirmed this week he would leave his work. Earlier in the day, Brioni said its creative director, Brendan Mullane, would not be renewing his contract.
Alessandro Sartori is rumored to be in discussions with Zegna to replace Stefano Pilati.
