Italian eyewear maker Safilo registered 1.3 billion Euros in revenues for 2015, up by 8.5% at current exchange rates, while at constant currencies were unchanged.
In Europe, the group achieved a growth of 6%, while in North America has posted a growth of + 19% (+ 0.8% at constant exchange rates).
Present in 39 countries, Safilo licenses luxury brands such as Dior, Fendi, Gucci, Celine, Givenchy, and Max Mara, while it owns Carrera, Polaroid and Oxydo brands.
Safilo recorded negative performance in Latin America (-6.7%) and Asia-Pacific (-9%), while in the rest of the world has accelerated with a double-digit rate (+ 12.6%) Fourth-quarter sales rose by 2.6% to 319.2 million or (2.7% at constant exchange rates).
