Moncler wins new counterfeiting battle

In its continued counterfeiting battle Moncler has recovered 50 domain names of 50 websites violating the trademark rights. The World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva upheld the arbitration proceedings by Moncler, arranging the transfer of these sites, which used the brand name associated with terms such as outlets, sale and store. The 50 domains, registered in December 2015, had been created by three persons of Chinese nationality, possibly subject to a common control, using images of original Moncler’s garments to sell counterfeit products.
