Louis Vuitton reopens Singapore store after renovation

Louis Vuitton has recently reopened its Singapore store at ION Orchard after extensive renovations. A bespoke handbag service will also be available at the newly renovated  store for the latest Spring/Summer 2016. The exclusive Louis Vuitton Haute Maroquinerie was first launched in 2011 and offers to complete a woman’s signature look with a bespoke bag.

In a Made-to-Order (MTO) service, you can choose from 6 iconic shapes including the Noe, Triangle or Lockit, historic designs from the 30s’ and 50s’ archives, or the Milaris and Neo Steamer. The New Classic Capucines also debuts this season in an updated new look.

In a tribute to the very first days of Louis Vuitton, who was born in 1854 in Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, the Capucines bag embodies excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail and great dedication.

The new design is a classically modest beauty, whose strong shape is juxtaposed with a supple, soft leather for a relaxed feel, then rounded up with fierce yet subtle curves. Deceptively simple, the elegant Capucines is a complex creation spanning over 250 individual handcrafted operations and thousands of steps. Every detail speaks of the ever-present know-how that expresses the time-weathered sophistication and refinement that is distinctly Louis Vuitton.
