Inside Olivia Wilde’s Brooklyn Home

Actress Olivia Wilde, the star of the HBO series Vinyl from Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, resides in Brooklyn with her partner, Jason Sudeikis, and their son, Otis.

Olivia and Jason previously sold their Meatpacking District apartment for $3.8 million and moved into a much larger, 6,300-square-foot mansion in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill.

The expansive Brooklyn home, which includes a library, living room with hidden projector screen and six fireplaces, was previously the home of Jimmy Walker, the city’s Jazz Age mayor.

“They wanted a bigger house, somewhere quieter than Manhattan. They like getting to walk around and buy groceries,” a source told Pursuitist.

Olivia’s new home, previously listed in May for $9.875 million, recently underwent a $3.5 million renovation that included a new A/C system, 100 new windows, and a private garden.

The best part of this dream home is its proximity to two of Brooklyn’s finest parks; Olmsted and Vaux’s masterpiece Prospect Park is just a few streets away, and Fort Greene Park is to the north.

The 31-year-old Olivia and Otis can be spotted at Walter’s in Fort Greene, a Brooklyn café near their home.
