The French label is getting ready to launch a kid’s line for boys and girls up to and including young teens (6 to 14). Judging by the first image posted on the label’s official site and on Creative Director Olivier Rousteing’s Instagram account, this collection, to be called Balmain Kids, will follow in line with the House’s rock-baroque style.
Jeans, leather jackets with gold buttons, white dinner jackets with a black collar, skinny jeans, gold-tipped leather boots… It’s a bold style directly inspired by the collections created for men and women by Olivier Rousteing since his arrival in 2011 that characterises the line. Designed by the Artistic Director himself, it includes some fifty pieces of ready-to-wear and accessories.
The new Balmain Kids line should be launched in June. Created in-house, it will sold in Balmain stores and on the brand’s e-shop to start off with.
