pWe recently laid our hands on Chloandeacute;andrsquo;s Fleur de Parfum; and while it is everything and more we expect from the French luxury brand, we couldnandrsquo;t help but fall in love with its beautiful flacon that is so quintessentially Chloandeacute;. On that note, we chatted with Patrick Veillet, a fragrance bottle designer and the man behind this beautiful bottle, about what inspired him to create this beautiful bottle and what makes it so special. Read on. andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pIandrsquo;ve personally been a fan of Chloandeacute; when it comes to fragrances, especially Chloandeacute;andrsquo;s Love Story; so when I chanced upon Fleur de Parfum, my expectations were already racing. And I can safely say the race is won. andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pChloandeacute;andrsquo;s Fleur de Parfum entered the market somewhere around mid last year as an addition to the Chloe Eau de Parfum range of 2008, bringing with it the soothing scent of a bunch of fresh roses. A flowery concoction created by perfumers Michel Almairac and Mylene Alran, it is said to contain rose pistil, apart from fruity and spicy undertones of verbena blossom, cherry blossom and powdery rice. On a warm and balmy afternoon, this one is sure to work magic.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pAnd while we were falling in love with the fragrance, what really caught our attention was the beautiful flacon that contained it. Designed by perfume bottle designer Patrick Veillet, this one, like the others that hold Chloandeacute; fragrances, is inspired by the brandandrsquo;s andldquo;extremely structured shapes, andrdquo; as Veillet puts it. As he continues speaking about designing the bottle, he says, andldquo; The clothing gives the impression of freedom and fluidity. I tried to translate this particular feature in the fragrance bottle. I wanted to create a bottle with a strong horizontal and vertical structure; one that evokes suppleness.andrdquo;/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"/p p style="text-align: center;"span style="font-style: italic;"Perfume bottle designer Patrick Veilletandnbsp;/span/p pandnbsp;/p pVeillet was inspired by the nomadic spirit of the Chloandeacute; woman, and hence, his creation is one that consciously isnandrsquo;t too fragile. The little rosy-beige ribbon around its neck only adds to the bottleandrsquo;s femininity. In Veilletandrsquo;s words, it can be tossed into a handbag without the fear of it breaking. In fact, intriguingly, the bottleandrsquo;s striated finish is designed to resemble pleated sleeves, a typical Chloandeacute; clothing trademark. Now thatandrsquo;s some trivia.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pemImages Courtesy: Notes (Thinkstock); Patrick Veillet (a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.n-cigale.com/le-createur" target="_blank"N-Cigale/a)/em/p pembr //em/p pstrongMore On andgt;andgt; a href="http://www.luxpresso.com/style/perfumes" target="_blank"Perfumes/a/strong/p
