The AIFW Playlist: Creator's Edition

pThere's something about a live show that has the horde of journalists clamouring outside the pearly gates. The clothes being unveiled for the first time, sure, but what goes a long way in creating the charged vibe of the live experience is the music! It is usually blaring at maximum volume to prevent you from getting distracted. Without music it's fashion, with music it becomes a show. We pick the choicest tracks from AIFA AW '17./p pbr /Starting things off was indie rock band Strfkr for hemant and nandita in a gritty cover of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun./p pandnbsp;/p piframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UodDJEE49V0" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"/iframe/p pandnbsp;/p pHuemn took the post apocalyptic vibe form the clothes all the way to the music, layering Bane's dialogue on the soundtrack of The Dark Knight by Hans Zimmer./p pandnbsp;/p piframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5hd95DEBsos" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"/iframe/p pandnbsp;/p pFrom dub to jazz, EDM, British punk rock, disco - the music was as versatile as the clothes on display. Wendell Rodricks had the legendary Grace Jones play in the back as his resort collection traipsed out in warm oranges./p pandnbsp;/p piframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/oIS-PLWimys" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"/iframe/p pandnbsp;/p pThere were live elements of course, which are impossible to recreate. Pero brought in Dinero Ash's D Club, an ensemble band that as Ash clarifies, "creates gypsy urban music. IT's really un-categorisable." Elements of percussion, beat-boxing, saxophone, kiramba were layered to amp up the tribal vibe. The finale with Amit Aggarwal and Tarun Tahiliani had live classical musicians. We spied a violinist and a cellist./p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p p/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pFret not for the live music, here's some love for the earphones with a 20-track-strong a href="https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC1LYd8Ikdp4pmb4T5_c2M4k4q0meTfzy" target="_blank"PLAYLISTandnbsp;/afrom the 4 long days at fashion week this autumn/ winter. May your music choices be as chic as a designer's studio. Happy discovering./p pandnbsp;/p
