Oscar de la Renta steps up retail expansion in Spain

Oscar by Oscar de la Renta arrives in Spain. The luxury designer brand has opened this month its first stores in the country in partnership with Spanish operator Cia De la Moda as part of an ambitious expansion plan focused on the brand’s menswear offering.

Oscar de la Renta kicked off its expansion programme with the launch of 12 stores and 3 shop-in-shops in leading department stores chain El Corte Ingles between 13-16 March.

This is the first time Oscar by Oscar de la Renta launches in Europe. “This is an exciting and ambitious project and our goal is to have a presence in 50 or 60 El Corte Ingles stores within three years,” commented Cia de la Moda co-owner Borja Gomez.

Each store will feature the brand’s collections, which express the variety of styles and colour identity of Oscar de la Renta. The latest clothing pieces will be showcased alongside accessories and footwear.

Cia de la Moda is the agency behind the launch and will represent the brand in Spain. The Madrid-based company has more than 30 years of experience In the sector and works with more than 500 retailers across Spain.
