Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is promising no neighbors, no paparazzi and endless possibilities at the Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah, Baa Atoll.
The property is the hotelier’s first private island offering and is the world’s only exclusive-use UNESCO hideaway location in a World Biosphere Reserve. The secluded five-acre property is scheduled to open later this year and will offer Four Seasons’ discerning guests a true private island experience.
All yours
Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah, Baa Atoll is “entirely yours,” meaning that at time of booking, no other guests can reserve the island. Guests who book the private island will have access to its seven bedrooms, a beach house with an open-air living room, dining room kitchen, gym and library, the dive center, the Oceans of Consciousness Spa and a 62-foot yacht to explore the surrounding UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
The island can accommodate up to 22 guests on an exclusive basis, ensuring privacy and a stress-free environment.
Beyond its on-island amenities, guests can also throw a one-of-a-kind birthday party, for example, or even host their own mini music festival on the private beach by flying in big name talents.
Four Seasons is aiming to set the benchmark for private island travel with this offering.

“At Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah, guests can design their own experience,” said Armando Kraenzlin, regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru in a statement.
“They can treat the island as a space to spend captivating moments with family and friends; a place to play to the extreme and explore to their heart’s content; a secluded sanctuary to retreat and spa; the most exclusive VIP venue to celebrate and party; or an inspiring landscape to meet and motivate.”
Four Seasons’ private island addition brings the brand’s presence up to four properties in the Maldives.
At the Landaa Giraavaru property, Four Seasons is walking down a glass-bottomed aisle for its newest wedding ceremony option.
Described as the property’s most “breathtaking bridal backdrop to date,” Four Seasons has constructed a “floating” pavilion meant to elevate the beach wedding concept. The pavilion is located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve ocean, ideal for couples looking for a one-of-a-kind setting for their nuptials (see story).
