High Jewellery Suite

p/p pandnbsp;/p pLondon-based jeweller strongSarah Hoandrsquo;s/strong design style has a western influence underscored by an innate understanding of Eastern traditions, their symbolism and the Asian market. To mark the 10th anniversary of her eponymous brand, Sarah brought out a high-jewellery suite set in 18k white gold, featuring transformable pieces encrusted with white diamonds inspired by the amaryllis flower.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pSarahandrsquo;s decision to create an all-white suite as the crown jewel in the high-jewellery collection was sparked by her desire to allow the design and innovation to shine beyond different coloured precious metals, gemstones and themes that are integral to her cultivated design signature that continues to evolve. It took Sarah nearly 18 months to transform her idea into wearable pieces.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pNot too many jewellers come up with an entire suite comprising transformable rings, earrings and necklaces. So, how did this idea come about? andldquo;I wanted to create a suite which told a story through design and my research andndash; a suite that reflected my companyandrsquo;s milestone and my fortitude as a jewellery designer, andrdquo; explains Sarah. She explored the form of each piece and imagined her relationship to it and the stones, and the design and craftsmanship, to each mechanism. This, she says, allowed the piece to andldquo;move and breath.andrdquo;andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p p style="text-align: center;"/p pandnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pThe design aesthetics of the emAmaryllis /emsuite amalgamate lace work, fine lines and repeated motifs of the floral pattern. Choosing the amaryllis flower as the design motif was a clear choice for Sarah. Fascinated by its symbolism of pride and determination, its unfurling beauty, Sarah drew upon this floral inspiration and forged an everlasting relationship with diamonds. andldquo; The Amaryllis flowerandrsquo;s symbolism not only marked, but also mirrored the symbiosis in this present chapter for me.andrdquo; She adds. andldquo;I wanted the suite to represent my story so far as a jewellery designer, a company owner and the woman I have become.andrdquo;andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pSarah is currently working on expanding her Numerati collection, which was launched last year as a collection of nine rings based on the mysticism of numerology. andldquo;I am expanding this successful concept into a full collection with earrings, necklaces and bracelets, andrdquo; says the designer, who also plans to go on her second tour of Asia and present the latest high jewellery masterpieces.andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p pstrongMore On andgt;andgt; a href="http://www.luxpresso.com/jewellery" target="_blank"Jewellery/a/strong/p
