Christian Louboutin’s red soles are headed to paradise this spring season with the new Hawaii Kawai collection. Embracing the spirit of Aloha, the Parisian footwear designer’s latest collection is inspired by the mood and style of 1950’s Hawaii. While we have already seen the limited edition Nail Color Coffrets, the tropical island influenced range also flourishes with women’s and men’s shoes and leather goods. For the occasion, a colorful Hawaiian tropical print in black and white iterations, blooming with exotic hibiscus flowers was developed in the label’s Parisian studio. The region’s lush green tropical beauty blossoms on handbags, including the women’s Triloubi ($1,590 – $1,850) and men’s Trictrac. The print can also be seen as a stand-out trim enhancing the curvaceous lines of Houla Hot and mirage heel sandal Olala.Classic Pigalle Follies ($715) takes to Calf Caviar in both white and black variations at a new 55 heel height, as well as the classic 100. Also for women, the new, slim-soled Seava sneaker is ready to hula in a white Hawaii Kawai print.Bringing the glorious flora of Hawaii to life, flirtatious and whimsical styles Ha Why Luna and Ha Why Beach Club (each priced at $1,995) captivate with 3-D laser-cut leather embellishments and delicate, hand-placed crystals and pearls. The integration of a unique Python Electric skin on the heel and platform of each shoe transports to lush overgrown tropics. With all this vibrancy on Christian Louboutin’s shelf, all a diva needs is a ticket to Hawaii and a hula skirt.
