Bergdorf Goodman is launching “Right From the Runway.” A series of events where designers make their fall 2016 collections available for pre-sale just days after their New York Fashion Week presentations.
“Everyone’s talking about immediate gratification — so we’ve invited several of our designers to come to Bergdorf Goodman in the days immediately after the shows and let our customers touch and feel the collection and make their selections for the season ahead,” department store president Joshua Schulman told WWD about the endeavor.
Brands like Altuzarra, Cushnie et Ochs, Jason Wu, Michael Kors, and Prabal Gurung will partake in the event that blends a personal appearance at a store with the feel of a trunk show, beginning today (February 18th) with Lady Gaga favorite Brandon Maxwell. The events continue on the third floor through February 29th.
